Danazol is a synthetic steroid produced from ethisterone. This medication suppresses synthesis of

gonadotrophic hormones luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) by pituitary gland in men and women. Dosage and direction

The common recommended dose in adults is 200-800 mg a day divided in 2-4 intakes. Treatment starts on the first day of the menstrual cycle.
